The challenge
An international confectionery brand serving more than 70 countries all over the world, Kervan Gida wanted to raise its profile in the UK market and approached us to deliver the solution.
Getting more consumers to recognise and engage with Kervan Gida’s sweets brands was only half the battle, with the company also wanting to increase their UK presence with the nation’s supermarkets too.
To achieve these aims, there would need to be a two-pronged approach, centring on PR and social media activity that delivered Kervan Gida’s corporate messages and the creation of a totally new identity for its leading brands, Bebeto and Dexters, while also linking with its existing international identity.
The solution
The Bright Media Agency created three social media profiles for Bebeto and Dexters across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and a LinkedIn profile for Kervan Gida to increase B2B brand awareness. Alongside this, we promoted the brand in both trade and consumer titles, so buyers and decision makers would become more aware of the products.
To aid the growth of the brand on social media, we created a unique identity for Bebeto and Dexters that placed the brands within their individual target audience – both for trade and consumer. This involved the creation of characters made from sweets for Bebeto and organising a two-day photoshoot for both brands to create a bank of imagery.
In order to raise consumer awareness further, the team identified and worked with relevant bloggers and Instagrammers across the UK to secure social media coverage and drive traffic and engagements with the brand’s social media pages. This activity involved frequent organic and sponsored posts, and was supported by monthly competitions across both brands.
