The solution
Two contemporary, clean and clear websites with impactful use of images, corporate branding and calls to action, leading to a vastly improved user experience. Built on WordPress the content is also easy to update and customise. The corporate site presented information in a way that made it easy for the main audience segments – wholesalers, retailers and catering professionals – to quickly access content about products and services relevant to them.
The new retailer-focused website offered retailers a login area with exclusive advice, offers and tools to improve their business. They could also access latest news and digital editions of Lifestyle Retailer magazine with a couple of clicks. To further develop commercial opportunities, it was also built to be able to carry digital advertising from major food and drink manufacturers.
We also developed a Landmark-branded app for iOS, Android and web. As well as being an event hub with digital delegate lists, event programmes, sponsorship opportunities, feedback forms and event information, the app also offered interactive delegate features so they could arrange one-to-one meetings, ask panel questions and post comments and photos. Notifications could be sent to the delegates before, during and after the event, and speakers could run live polls through the app during presentations, with results of delegate votes being instantly available on the big screen. Users could also quickly access Landmark news and the website.
